YOUR BRIDAL TRIAL
Your bridal make-up and hair trial is a vital part of creating the perfect look for your wedding day.
During the trial, we will work together to craft a make-up and hair style that truly reflects your vision. It’s helpful if you can bring along any ideas or inspiration you have beforehand. This will allow me to understand your preferences and ensure we make the most of our time together.

At the trial, we will review your inspiration photos and discuss your personal style, features, wedding dress, and colour scheme to create a look that complements everything perfectly.
Trials usually take place Monday to Thursday between 9 am – 5 pm. You’re welcome to visit my home studio in Fleet, Hampshire, or, if preferred, I can travel to you.
I recommend booking your trial 3-4 months before your wedding day. On average, trials take between 2-3 hours to complete.
You’ll be well-prepared for your trial with The Bride’s Guide. This helpful resource is packed with tips to help you make the most of your hair and make-up session, ensuring you’re fully ready for your big day.
If your look requires them, you’ll have the chance to try clip-in hair extensions, a selection of beautiful hair accessories from Make Me Bridal Accessories, and a variety of eyelashes to elevate your bridal look.
After the trial, you’ll receive photos and videos of your hair and make-up to revisit. You’ll also get a personalised product recommendation list including all the information you need for your bridal touch-ups.
Additionally, you’ll receive a Detailed Morning Wedding Schedule, so you can relax knowing your bridal preparations will run smoothly.

The full bridal touch-up stay-on service ensures I’m discreetly by your side for touch-ups and assistance pre- and post-ceremony, as well as during your photographs. I’ll ensure you look flawless and picture-perfect throughout the day.
The Restyle Service
Why settle for one bridal look when you can have two? This service is perfect if you’d like a second look for your reception or evening celebrations.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How far in advance should I book my bridal make-up and hair?
It’s never too early to start thinking about your bridal make-up and hair. I usually start taking bookings between 1-2 years in advance. Please do get in touch regardless of how near or far your wedding day is.
Do I need to have a bridal make-up and hair trial?
Yes, trials are mandatory and essential for planning your look for your wedding day. The trial gives you a chance to meet me, where we will work together to create your perfect make-up and hair look to suit you for your special day.
At the trial we will take into consideration your personal style, features, wedding dress and colour schemes to perfect your bridal look.
We will organise the timings for the morning of your wedding and discuss your bridal party's make-up and hair look if they have decided against a trial. To ensure everything stays calm and runs as smoothly as possible, I will organise a schedule for the morning of your wedding. This is so everyone has their own time slot and knows when and where they need to be at what time.
When do I have my make-up and hair trial?
I would recommend having the bridal make-up and hair trial at least 3-4 months before your wedding day. If your wedding is less than 3 months away at the time of booking, we will work to fit your trial in as soon as we can.

How long does the make-up and hair trial take?
Bridal make-up and hair trials usually take between 2-3 hours.
Do I need anything for my make-up and hair trial?
Getting some inspiration photos together for your make-up and hair is very useful as I will then be able to gauge the type of look you are after. Feel free to send me your inspiration pictures or Pinterest boards, I would love to see them.
It would also be helpful if you had any hair accessories or products you were planning on wearing on your wedding day to hand.
For the trial, when is best to wash my hair and should I wear make- up?
I would suggest washing your hair the night before the trial however, if you would prefer to wash it on the morning please do so. Just try to avoid using any leave in conditioners or straightening your hair. At the trial please have dry hair and a make-up free face, although please feel free to apply your skincare as usual.
I am not sure on the bridal make-up and hair look I am after, will you be able to help?
Of course, this is what the bridal make-up and hair trial is for. Even if you are unsure on the look you are after or have too many looks in mind I would still suggest collecting some images or creating a Pinterest board of the type of hair and make-up looks you like or even don’t like so much. This way I can gauge your style, likes and dislikes and we can create a beautiful make-up and hair look.
What products do you have in your kit?
Products I use in my kit include, Charlotte Tilbury, NARS, Bobbi Brown, MAC,Urban Decay, Glossier, Loreal and Schwarzkopf.
Who can I bring to the trial?
If you decide to visit my home studio for your trial, I’m excited to welcome you! Due to space limitations, I can accommodate one guest to join you. In my experience, trials run best when it’s a one-on-one session, but if you'd like to bring someone, I recommend choosing someone whose opinions and input are most meaningful to you.
Will I need hair extensions?
If your hair is thinner or finer, you might want to consider using hair extensions for added volume and a fuller look. Extensions can really enhance styles such as a half-up, half-down look or glam Hollywood waves, elevating your overall style while helping it hold and appear fuller. If you're considering extensions, feel free to drop me an email, and we can discuss your options further.
Do you offer false lashes?
Yes, I do offer false lashes! I have a range of options to choose from, including strip lashes and individual lashes. My personal favourite is individual lashes, as they offer the most natural yet bespoke look, tailored to enhance your eyes perfectly. Your bridal party who are having make-up are also welcome to false lashes
What set up will I need for hair and make-up?
For both the wedding day and the trial, I’ll need a clear surface for my kit, access to a plug socket, and ideally a spot near natural light to ensure the best lighting for hair and make-up application
How long will the make-up and hair take on the wedding day?
This will all depend on the look you are after but I usually I allow 45 minutes to 1 hour for make-up and 45 minutes to 1 hour for hair. At the trial we will discuss timings and if you have a large bridal party, I will create a schedule for the morning of your wedding.
How far will you travel for a booking?
I am based in Fleet, Hampshire, however, I am more than happy to travel for your booking. I cover Surrey, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and London too. *I will travel the first 20 miles total at no additional cost. Additional miles are charged at £0.48p per mile.
